About us

NEW YEAR GREETINGS and THANKS TO EVERYONE IN OUR COMMUNITY

We thank the people of New Malden for their wondersful suppprt of our Christmas Appeal which raised a magnificent sum to help us continue with our involvement, supporting the needs of groups and individuals in our community as well as further afield. For more detail go to What We Do above and click on Christmas Fundraising.

New Malden Rotary has devoted 94 years of service to its community and the wider world.  We work closely with local environmental and community groups, including other Rotary Clubs and Kingston Borough Council.  We share our skills to help local schools and charities and volunteer for local projects.

Our aim is to be people of action, working with like-minded groups and individuals, identifying where help is needed and reacting to it.  We are committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; all are welcome to join us or just join in as volunteers, committed to the idea of helping in our community where need exists while making friends and working together.

The main focus of our service is local but, being part of Rotary International, a world-wide association of more than 1.4 million members, we also work through District and Regional organisations to communicate with many areas of need, sometimes through direct co-operation with local Rotary Clubs in those areas.

New Malden Rotary meets twice a month on Monday evenings although much of the work on projects and events is done in smaller teams, meeting as and when required. Occasional social events and informal gatherings also feature in our programme.

New Malden is a vibrant, multi-cultural neighbourhood to which Rotary is proud to contribute.
